 There are inherent problems with Happy Black King Shirt defining anything related to someone's identity as "default". What if we started defining people of African descent as "default" because that's where humans evolved, or people as certain religions "default" because they're the most prevalent? You wouldn't necessarily be wrong on a technical level, but it sounds very dismissive and can be hurtful. Obviously, people have differing opinions on this and very popular opinion is that people who are hurt by this should just "suck it up", but personally I don't see what's wrong with just using the term to avoid that conflict. It doesn't hurt anyone to use it.

I don't expect I'll ever begin again, I've had enough to drink to last at least three lifetimes, and I believe I only get one.
