I honestly believe some people don’t realize some animals do not have a choice in what they eat, literally some animals can’t digest plants and HAVE to be carnivores... some vegans take it too far and that’s why they get such a bad wrap. I mean it's pretty iffy to consider animals capable of making moral choices, to begin with. Quite a few carnivores might be able to digest plants to some extent, but it's silly to expect cats not to hunt mice. Exterminating carnivores is technically a coherent standpoint if you view eating animals as inherently evil, but if your goal was to either save animal lives or preserve nature (not the same thing) then you're putting the cart before the horse a bit.

No real benefit in Colombia is so close to the equator. The only reason you'd do it is to stay in the same time zone relative to the U.S. and presumably your neighbors if they also change clocks. I've tried and recommended some of those things. We used to play games online together too. But he's more of the type to need me to be physically there. It's ironic because I learned to be more independent and keep my distance because of him.
