Up further north, there's a large difference between the amount of daylight in winter vs. summer. In summer it would be getting light out before you wake up which kinds screws with sleep. So, we move the clocks forward. There are also some energy savings since businesses are open during daylight hours. I've tried and recommended some of those things. We used to play games online together too. But he's more of the type to need me to be physically there. It's ironic because I learned to be more independent and keep my distance because of him.
